Try HTML.
If that doesn't work, try a different browser.
I can get on with Internet Explorer, but not with Safari.

yeah, I tried the html in Internet explorer and it justs gives me a blank page saying "done".

My browser does that sometimes... I figured out that it's because my computer has a program on it to block pop-ups, which it considers the chat window to be. Anyway, hold the control key down as you're clicking on the "enter chat" link, and hold it down until the chat window opens... hopefully that will work for you.
