Hey everyone I need some suggestions. My friend recently bought tickets for us to see Rent, and I want to thank her by buying tickets for another show. The problem is, I'm quite broke at the moment, so does anyone know good shows with good seats under $60? Help!

If you don't mind off-Broadway shows, then I highly recommend The Fantasticks - all tickets go for $39 on Broadwaybox.com. If you can get first row, you are practically sitting on stage.

Well if you go though TDF.org or TKTS in Time Square or The South Seaport you can get cheap tickets to great shows. Also if you go to talkinbroadway.com it tells you all about rushes and lottery's to get cheaper tickets to Broadway shows.

I don't know if you are aware of www.broadwaybox.com but there you can see all the shows with discounts. For example, Xanadu is 50% off until the middle of July. (I know you said "good show" so maybe Xanadu isn't the best example!)
I am sure that you can find someting you want, reasonably priced.
Good luck.

Grey Gardens has a $59 discount offer right now. Or you can buy student rush tickets, I heard they're not hard to get.

For Company, the last two rows of the rear mezzanine cost $36.

Are you a student? I highly recommend student rush! The Talkin' Broadway website lists rush policies.
