It doesn't work on all the boards. 
On ATC you have to actually use the "link" field. They're kind of archaic and don't auto-format.

Who are they kidding by pretending to call it a "fan" website?
His domain is being redirected to your blog, so it means it has his explicit approval. More like OFFICIAL website than fan website.

Posted: 3/22/08 at 1:24pmI know it must appear that way, but the truth is I have no connection to Eric except that I met him for the first time after I saw him in "Whistle" a few months ago. I was amazed that he didn't have a website where people could follow his performances and started one up for myself and his fans. It is with his permission, I wouldn't do it otherwise and his family owns his domain name so it is directed to my blog fansite.
