What do people think?
Wow... they are pretty good. I saw Eden on the Today show, She had some talent.

I really didn't like the "screeching" notes but Paradice is really good.

I haven't seen the show. I was just going by that clip.

Based on that short clip do you think it looks interesting or no?
I think it looks corny and like I said, I don't like all the screeching, but I am still getting the cast recording when it comes out.

I hate to say it, but that clip made me wanna see this show.
This clip made me feel like it would be more of a voice/song showcase and not as much of a story. They are clearly talented, but I dont know if I would be able to buy into the plot. Kind of like watching American Idol... on broadway.

Eden says, "It's a fairytale, you just have to accept that. We're not trying to make it believable because it's a fairytale?" One of the worst things I think you could possibly say. If I'm not suppose to believe the show then why am I seeing it? In all fairytales, no matter how magical they come across, they're supposed to be believed and people are suppose to walk away with something from them---not feeling like they just listened to a story that will have no meaning in their life. Once again, this show can't even be marketed without using the same FOUR songs over and over again. I think my big issue still is that if this musical has an amazing score, why am I hearing the same four songs over and over again. Why is it that when people write up reviews, critics or not, the only ones they focus on our these four songs, unless the other ones are being torn apart because they aren't good. The clip doesn't make the show look bad, the clips are what save that whole entire footage. I think the responses from the cast and creative team were terrible for the most part. Eden's was just the worst.
I think it looks good. I am going to see it in late November and can't wait!
When someone said "People are tired of revivals and adaptations, so we brought brooklyn to broadway." or something like that, that makes me wanna run and get a ticket (even if its one of the worsts musicals ever).
I want to see the show. That clip made me want to see it more. It might be as bad as people are making out, or it might be as amazing as others are saying. Personally I like to judge or myself, regardless of what critics or other people would like me to think.
I'm looking forward to the release of the cast recording. It is a bit worrying how we only ever hear the same songs used to promote the show though.....
Karen Olivo's qoute about people being tired of revivals and adaptations - so true. Well, I'm tired of them anyway. We want new stuff!
