Anybody who has been to Chelsea Studios for one reason or another knows that the place can be INFESTED with Celebrities. Who have you run into here? I was just there last week and saw John McDaniel from The Rosie O'Donnell Show and Jennifer Holliday.

For those of you who aren't aware - Chelsea Studios is a rehearsal spot in NYC where Broadway Shows, Tours, and sometimes TV/Film productions are rehearsed and is also the location of many Auditions. Updated On: 4/9/07 at 05:16 PM

I worked for a show that rehearsed there last summer and I've been in shows that rehearsed there- there are many well-known people there a lot! This summer I saw Joan Rivers (she was casting someone to be her assistant or something), Shoshana Bean, Seth Rudetsky, and when I went there for a voice lesson this year, I rode in the elevator with Tovah Feldshuh and Jerry Mitchell. The funny thing was, their conversation went like this:
Jerry: Tovah! It's so nice to see you!
Tovah: Um, hi, who are you?
Jerry: Oh, I'm Jerry Mitchell, I'm here for Legally Blonde rehearsals.
Tovah: Oh, that's nice.

She wasn't being bitchy or anything, but she genuinely didn't have any idea of who he was! It was pretty amusing.

great place......always audition and rehearse our shows at Chelsea......they really know how to treat their customers.....
