Let's just keep this short. I need to know which version of PHANTOM Galinda starred in back in '94, than this thread can die. =)

hmmmmm....not quite.

Chenoweth starred in a German tour of MAURY YESTON's "Phantom" playing Christine.

She has never been involved with the ALW production.

I know it is *not* the ALW version.

Can one of the little Idinaites or Chenoites who stalk the stage door ask her for me tonight after the show?

I thought the terms were Idinaite and Chenoian.

Does anyone else think she should come to the ALW/Broadway production?? I think she would make a great Christine.

a little too old to be Christine, and Matt--Kristin Chenoweth starred as Christine Daae in Phantom (Maury Yeston and book by Arthur Kopit)-I am positive of that.

always,

"The Phantom of the Opera Christine Daae North Shore Music Theatre 1994
The Phantom of the Opera Christine Daae German Tour 1995"

From her bio on broadway.com. Does that rule out the Yeston version?

It was the Yeston version.

But wasn't the Yeston version just called PHANTOM?

Well, we know the North Shore one wasn't the Webber - it's not available. Don't know about the German tour.

I believe that the Yeston version has a cracked out title like:

"Phantom: An American Musical Phenomenon"

I starred in a short film called Magnetic Personality. Check it out!

Happy to say that I was in the North Shore Music Theatre's production of Yeston's PHANTOM starring Kristin Chenoweth, Rob Baker and Marc Kudisch.

Just a little horn tooting of my own...

Thanks for obliging...

Thank you Scooter - now THAT should end it. BTW - good for you!

"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!

That's weird. We had this debate before and I checked two different sites (I forget them now), and they both listed ALW, but I guess they were wrong. Broadway.com should revise her bio.

Sorry! I was misinformed. I didn't mean to pull a Bush on you.

The Kopit and Yeston version is better, anyway.

Thank You, Scooter. You made my day with that news and that Kudisch was also in that production. (Y'all know I loves me some Marc)

NOW, since we have someone who was at the show and saw it in person...
MAY THIS THREAD ROT IN HELL, ER, REST IN PEACE.
