I felt compelled to type this after reading the Wicked Fans Unite post where there was a page were people were gushing over Chenoweth. Now, I love Wicked as much as the next fellow (not EVER obsessed fellwo, but most fellows) and I must point out flaws. One: CHENOWeTH! AHHH! I know i have upset millions of people, but... i'm sorry. she bothers me! have a good day, i must go buy my Caroline LA tickets now... Wait! maybe it's just the role... i dunno... Posted: 9/17/04 at 2:21pmI love her singing voice, and in the right role, her speaking works for the character. Now, having not been exposed to her in a non-acting venue, I don't know if she always does the high-pitched stuff - but I can see where that could get annoying after awhile.

This is one of those weird situations where I can totally understand where the other person is coming from, but I don't agree with them.
I can definitely see how people would think her voice is annoying, but I absolutely love her voice, especially when sings songs that makes her use her sing in a high opera-level soprano voice. I also love that you can tell she has had good training and therefore great technique in her singing.

Kristin is amazing, although I prefer most of J-La's singing to Kristin's.
That's beside the point. Kristin is still amazing.
You just have to hear Jennifer Laura Thompson sing "Thank Goodness." She's spectacular.

I can see how her belting voice might be a little much or annoying (it's not to me, but I can understand if it is for you...), but her soprano opera voice is GORGEOUS and I cannot see how it would drive anyone nuts.
Check out her album, Let Yourself Go, to hear her use other levels of her voice, veering away from the "high squeaky" stuff.

im just tired of people making pointless posts about their own subjective opinions. you dont like someone get a f*cking life and dont moan about it.
also, people generally need to learn how to spell someones name if they are going to criticize them. and for the record her name is k-r-i-s-t-i-n c-h-e-n-o-w-e-t-h finally, just lay off bashing her. shes lovely. :) lol.

my post about pop stars had said i found it upsetting that all these stars are getting the parts suited for new actors. i said i hated them working on broadway, didnt say i didnt like them
and marquise, seriously whats with all the frigid comments toward me...i didnt do anything to offend? did i?
