Really curious about this one. Did anyone go to the first preview last night?

I saw it and absolutely abhorred it. It's my favorite Chekhov piece, and I thought it was dreadful except for one thing:
Michael Urie. He is so delightful. So wonderful. And so gets it. Truly remarkable in a very tiny role.
I am normally a Wiest fan but found her performance to be too calculated and cold. Nothing really felt very genuine.
Brantley wrote a love letter about the breaking of the 4th wall. But the audience I was a part of was uncomfortable in the worst way. None of it made any sense. We were asked to do too much with too little information.
The costume design is sublime. The sound design is a mess. Turturro is practically camp.
I'm shocked to see that no one else here has posted about it, especially if they felt the same way. I was floored by the reviews. Anyone out there?
