anyone know anything about Cheyenne Jackson? i saw him as Radames a couple of weeks ago in AIDA and he was phenomenal. What a voice! And what stage presence! i found his website and noticed he has pics of himself as Rocky in Rocky Horror....WOW! Did anybody see this? and Where was it? God, I wish I had seen it!
I saw him as Trevor Grayden in MILLIE and also thought he was terrific. Handsome, much?!

Yes, I saw on his website that he did Millie. I bet he was amazing. I am so glad someone else has seen him, because my friends and I were saying that he definitely has that special something. If you get a chance, go to www.cheyennejackson.com and check out his pictures of him in Millie and Rocky Horror. Handsome much? uh.....YUP!
I also saw him in "Millie." I remember him being quite good.

I met him out not too long ago and he was very nice and cordial....and very easy on the eyes.
I havent had the pleasure to see him perform but he said he had been in rehearsals with Deborah Cox, who is about to join the cast.
I've seen Millie a few times and Cheyenne was the first Trevor Graydon I saw and I loved him in the role! He was great =) A friend of mine also saw him in Aida and said he was fabulous.
I saw him perform "What Do I Need With Love?" at a concert type of thing promoting Millie. He was great... beautiful voice. I met him afterwards and he was very nice. He has gorgeous eyes too. I really want to see him play Radames.

cheyenne cheyenne cheyenne **faint**
I just read a kinda nasty post on the Aida message board. Someone wrote that Cheyenne wouldn't explore "Aida" on stage, cause Mereb is waiting in his bed.
Is that true? He is such a cutie.....
I have a friend who has known Cheyenne since before Broadway. I was supposed to meet him at a dinner last summer but signals got crossed....long story.....
Anyway, I've heard nothing but fantastic things about him.

I do believe Cheyenne is gay, if that's what you're asking.
Amazingly talented, really sweet, and VERY cute though!
Never saw him in a show...but he is gorgeous.
talented, charming, sweet, sexy...and quite - well, not straight :) . i was surprised though - he seems so leading man/straight boy - geez, i was wrong. he has the cutest dog ever!!

Since it seems he has a few fans here, I've heard that Cheyenne will be playing Radames on Tuesday. (7:00 show.)

What a great actor! He is so sweet too, not to mention extremely tall!
The last time I saw AIDA he was on as Radames. The guy has one hell of a singing voice and his acting is top flight. He and Deborah seemed to have really good chemistry together. He definitely deserves a star vehicle and recording contract with a blue chip label.

Saw him in Aida last night and he was WONDERFUL! Seriously...great voice, commands the stage and definitely looks the part. (Because, you know, I really know what an Egyptian warrior is supposed to look like.)
I was hoping he'd take over if Will Chase left, but I guess that's not happening...but I'm sure this guy is going to be okay no matter what he does!
He did Rocky Horror here in Seattle at the 5th Avenue...unfortunately I missed him. I think he also played Joey in Most Happy Fella here as well.
Borstal, i had no idea you were from (or visited) Seattle. i happened to be there (my brother moved there) when RHS was playing, and caught Cheyenne in it. i had heard of him before too, and followed him since.
Cheyenne is openly gay. Hope that more Broadway leading men will folowing his example being out and proud. This is from Wayman Wong's September 1 column in Playbill.
At home in Manhattan, Jackson, 29, enjoys spending time with his "awesome" partner of four years and their dog, Zorra ("I sing love songs to her").
"I think I knew I was gay ever since I was five, six, seven. Even though I'm a big guy, I've always been gentle and soft-spoken, and I got teased for it. You know the top [of a carton] of homogenized milk? It just says "homo," and on my first day of public school [in ninth grade], someone had put one of those caps on my desk. Kids can be cruel. Coming out was crazy hard. We had a family powwow and it was tough, but my parents rock."

I LOVE Chey.
I can SO identify with the stuff that happened in school. Unfortunately, I was a bit scrawney.. okay VERY scrawney in school, so I couldn't really stand up as much until i learned the art of wit.

yay for chey!!! i saw him once as trevor and once as jimmy in TMM. he was awesome as usual! he remembered me and the stage door too and i almost fainted. he's such a sweet heart!!
very interesting. Thanks for the quote. i was having trouble finding anything on the topic on the WWW, but a search led me back here, which is why this thread got resurrected. As i stated in the Off-Topic board about Cheyenne (i can only wish i knew him well enough to call him "Chey"), it'd be nice if he'd stop covering leads and do some more regional ones or wait for a feature role on B'way.
