I was just looking at the sound clips on his website and he had some clips of west side story songs. There was only a piano being played and it sounded kind of intimate. I don't know if he was in talks of playing Tony in the upcoming revival. Or maybe he just recorded this just for fun with another girl and he has no ties to the revival.

Hey all...
That WSS recording is actually from 2002ish. He is from my hometown and was in Village Theatre's production of WSS as Tony. I believe that is a recording from that show. Just FYI :)
Hey,
Can someone send me a link to hear the songs. I went to his website and tried to download them to listen too and each time my computer said there was an error downloading the files.
Much love, thanks!

Jackson played Tony at Village Theatre in Issaquah, just outside of Seattle several years before he made his Broadway debut.
At this time, he wasn't the seasoned performer he is now, and his voice (and acting) was much weaker. He offered a one-dimensional Tony. His Maria was fantastic.
"His Maria was fantastic."
He portrayed Maria?!? God I would've loved to see that!
"His Maria" as in "The girl who played Maria".
How much older is Cheyenne than Matt Cavenaugh?

according to IBDB, Jackson was born in 75 and Cavenaugh in 78.
Where can I hear the clips? Can not hear them!
Well, then Cheyenne is only three years older than Matt Cavenaugh. But I think that Matt looks younger on stage.
I'm just waiting now for the announcement that Matt Cavenaugh is playing Tony...any day now...
can someone send me a link to hear them?
Thanks!
Is it that difficult to to go to an actor's website and find the "Media" button?
yes, it is!!!! LOL...I have gone their many times and I clicked on the links to listen and each time I was told "Sorry an error has occurred in downloading this item, can not be done"!
That is why I asked if anyone else has a link to be able to hear them.
I'd be perfectly fine with Matt playing Tony but if they are casting Maria and Anita age-appropriately, I think it's going to look really off.

Mimi Hines as Maria? It coould work.
She's too young. I'm hoping Charlotte Rae gets a callback.
