Bernstein's "White House Cantata" (taken from '1600 Pennsylvania Ave.) will be performed by the Grant Park Symphony Orchestra with guest vocalists Nathan Gunn (President) and Rebecca Luker (First Lady) Wednesday 8/17 and Friday 8/19. Also of interest to this board, "Three Broadway Divas: Jan Horvath, Rebecca Luker and Debbie Gravitte" will perform 7/27 and 7/29.

The concerts are free! I've always wanted to see the White House Cantata!

Jarico and I saw Debbie and Rebecca in Grant Park when they performed Irving Berling and Jerome Kern. The concerts are great! Especially with the new theatre in Millenium Park. The sound is fantastic!

Thanks Joe. I must take advantage of Grant Park/Millenium. I did get to see Cheno at the Opening Night extravaganza.
