I'm going to Chicago in July (13-15) and I was wondering what show I should see with my aunt and her partner.
It's the weekend after Side Show closes which SUCKS becuase I would have totally seen that.
Any suggestions for what's good?

During your visit is also the Summer of Sondheim in Chicago festival (and a bonus is that it is free!).

I think Tick Tick Boom will still be open then due to its extension. Its an excellent production. I have also never seen a bad show at the Steppenwolf, if you are in to contemporary plays.

Not sure what kind of theatre you like. But both Wicked and Spelling Bee have lotteries where you can win great seats for 25 bucks. Of course, you can only buy two tickets so that probably won't be practical in your situation.
So, Im pretty much going to kill myself now, because the day of the huge concert is the day I leave for Toronto/NYC/Maine. ahhhhh the irony!!!
Yay Sondheim in the Park!! You should go to that and then you can meet me and Donna Darko. It'll be fun. I'm so excited! The Spelling Bee is great and I won tickets for lotto pretty easily. Have fun...Chicago's a great town.
