I actually saw it yesterday here in Florida. Velma and Roxie were good but I don't think it's was wonderful. It may have been worth my 50$ if I was sitting much close but we were in the balcony. For some reason they (the dancers) didn't seem to be in sync very well. I don't know, just my opinion. Good show never-the-less

I saw it with Bianca Marroquin and Brenda Braxton. They were fantastic together, but I can't say I remember the ensemble too well. Gregory Harrison was rather meh as Billy and so was whoever played Amos, I hated his Mr. Cellophane. I'm not sure who's in the cast at this point, but if Bianca and Brenda are still Roxie and Velma I would say it's worth it.
I saw it. My first time seeing the show, I thought it was thoroughly enjoyable. The leads were decent. Roxie (Bianca Something) was the best lead. Velma (Brenda Braxton I believe) wasn't as good as I thought she would be, she certainly wasn't terrible. Just medicore. Same with Billy Flynn, nothing too special.
The ensemble is the best part of the show, they were fabulous. Colleen Sexton is in the ensemble as well, this is all of course if it's the same cast I saw.

Insomniak and Eponine,
That sounds like the cast I'm seeing...I hadn't heard fabulous things about Gregory Harrison in this...
Shea's tickets can be expensive for good seats...
I'll have to mull this one over.

hahaha....Shea's tickets are the CHEAPEST of anywhere. lol Lion King here was $67.50 for top price seat. Top price in Boston was in the area of $90. Buffalo is cheap for theatre compared to other theatres. Top price for Chicago is $59.50 or $62.50 depending on the night you go.
beacon, i haven't seen the tour yet for obvious reasons to you, but if brenda is still velma, i say GO... i saw her on broadway this summer and loved her

Terra C. MacLeod is Velma Kelly now in the tour.
Gregory Harrison is still Billy Flynn but he's missed a few days
recently to film a/some TV pilots according to his fan website.
There's a new Amos - Kevin Carolean.
And there a few new faces in the ensemble.

Why didnt Gregory Harrison perform in Chicago in Rochester? I mean he was compleltey taken off the boards and everything. Is he back in the show now?

As I said, Gregory Harrison is filming a TV pilot according to his fan website. Supposedly he'll be back.
He also wasn't at the stop in Palm Beach following Rochester either
since the reviews mentioned he wasn't there.

I'd say see it. Bianca Marroquin and Terra C Macleod are fabulous as Roxie and Velma. It's definitely worth it.
If in Heaven you don't excel, you can always party down in hell...
I saw Bianca's Roxie in SF a couple of years ago and she was fantastic! Her singing was great; and the humor she brought to the role was wonderful. Bianca had the house rooting for her with the energy she displayed! She was all over the stage. If I remember correctly, she was in the version I saw with Kevin Richardson playing Billy Flynn and had to deal with the VAT's (Very Annoying Tweenies) that would scream in delight every time he appeared on stage.

Bianca and Terra are worth the ticket price alone...GO!
