In the NY area, Ch. 13, there is a special at 8:00 titled "Children Will Listen". It is about kids putting on a production of Into the Woods Jr. for the Kennedy Center. Watch!
OOOOOOOOOOOOOO, I'm so sad and mad. This was presented on the "second" PBS channel here in Austin. To get that channel, you have to have CABLE TV! It just p****** me off! What the h*** is "public" TV doing on cable? Do any other cities have this same set-up? I get so excited about upcoming "PBS" specials and then I can't watch them.
Governor, please give us a review.
It was awesome... i saw parts of it. Very real..
Yes, it was great. It was a look at how middle-school aged kids put all of their energy into every single part of the show: sets, costumes, acting, singing, etc. The kids genuinely seemed very excited with the whole thing, and Sondheim himself made an appearance at the end, congratulating the kids after the show. I believe you can order it on VHS or DVD.
OK, I'm calm now. A friend is going to tape if for me when it is re-broadcast.
