Which cast recording should I get of COE? Is there more than one? How is the American Premiere Recording? I really liked this show when I saw it at KSU.

The American Premiere recording is the same show Kent did. The London cast album is noticeably different (and out of print and fairly rare.)

I enjoy the LONDON one in some cases... but get the FULL RECORDING. The music is fabulous.

And even if you DO find the London recording, many of them suffer from disc rot and will stop playing. Better to just buy the Paper Mill recording.

I think the story is that some of them were pressed poorly and they disintegrate over the years. You might want to take your London Children of Eden and make a back-up CD-R, just in case, Jon.

I love both cast recordings of this musical!
The Paper Mill 2 cd set is the most complete, but the London has got some different songs and a wonderful cast.
I love the show and I hope that wiil be a big Broadway version one day...
I played Noah in an italian performing art school version years ago...So I can't forgett this powerful musical
