Hi all, i have a question i would greatly appreciate answered. My friend and I are going to attempt the insane, and try to get student tickets to chita rivera's the dancer's life tomorrow. In your opinions, what time do you think we should get there? Has anyone tried to get tickets to this this week? We were thinking maybe 830 or 9 but wanted to get your input. thanks so much!

according to the boards at talkinbroadway.com theres 25 dollar student rush day of at opening of the box office, etc. so.. i dont know if anyones done this who could give me an idea of how early the line starts...
I got 5 partial view rush tickets today at 12:30 for tonights show. Im thinking it might be general rush since the guy only looked at 1 ID. Either that or he trusted us. No line no wait, walked right up to the Box Office and got them.
great thanks a lot!
keep in mind tomorrow is new years eve so there will be 14 billion more people in the city. But I'd say you can get tickets with out too much of a problem.
Sadly, Looking at the last 2 weeks grosses the theater has only been about half full, so I'd say your chances are very good. Better a bought seat at rush discount than another empty or comped one. Enjot the show - Chita always delivers the goods - I think she could read the phone book, sing a small ditty and do 2 kicks and it would still be Flawless! That is called "Devotion", to Herself, Her Craft and her many sincere Admirers! She's a top notch "Show Lady" (I think the LEGEND word sounds like someone long gon on a stamp or something, She is simply TOPS, and a Happy & Grateful Person too. Her humility is awesome! She's such a real person, What you see is what you get, Just Chita and that is all we ever need, "Just Chita"!
haha thanks im really looking forward to it!
