CHITTY has great pedigree, too
Not too sure how it is presented on Broadway ( I will only get to see it in June) - but in the movie and in the London production, the story of CHITTY starts with his motor-racing history! Chitty was the international champion in the forerunner of modern-day FORMULA ONE

Posted: 5/6/05 at 7:23pmI havent seen the show yet and I'm curious, how exactly does a car bow? does it just light up or what?
#14re: Chitty Chitty Bows
Posted: 5/6/05 at 7:25pmThe cast bows, and it looks like they're done, then Raúl will usually give the audience a sort of "wait, stay put!" gesture, and the curtain goes up so you can see the car. Then the cast bows again with it.

That's stupid, Em.
The cast shouldn't bow again. It takes away from the car.
