Does the car really get the final bow?

re: Chitty Chitty Bows

Of course!

*sigh*..
Next there will be a final bow for a certain light fixture over at the Majestic.

Come on now - POTO isn't called CHANDELIER. The car's name is after all the title of the show.
The truly beautiful should be lawfully restricted from wearing clothing; and the truly butt-ugly should be lawfully mandated from going naked.

How would magical Hairspray be different?

Just a thought

If you've seen Chitty, you know that the car really IS the star of the show.

I'm in love with that car.

re: Chitty Chitty Bows

From what I've heard, the car is like another character in the show, not just a prop.

re: Chitty Chitty Bows

It really is like another character. So awesome!

re: Chitty Chitty Bows

CHITTY has great pedigree, too re: Chitty Chitty Bows

Not too sure how it is presented on Broadway ( I will only get to see it in June) - but in the movie and in the London production, the story of CHITTY starts with his motor-racing history! Chitty was the international champion in the forerunner of modern-day FORMULA ONE re: Chitty Chitty Bows

re: Chitty Chitty Bows

I havent seen the show yet and I'm curious, how exactly does a car bow? does it just light up or what?

re: Chitty Chitty Bows

The cast bows, and it looks like they're done, then Raúl will usually give the audience a sort of "wait, stay put!" gesture, and the curtain goes up so you can see the car. Then the cast bows again with it.
