Okay, shoot me now, but I'm gonna ask the oft-asked seating question. I saw ACL this week from the 3rd row of the mezz and the seats were good. I am going to see it again and I was wondering if I gain anything by being in the orchestra? Do you all have a seating preference for ACL?

I am going to use a discount code so center orchestra is probably out of the question. Basically it would be side orchestra or center mezz. Oh yeah. And I'm bringing people who haven't seen the show before.

Thanks.

Side orchestra is fine.

What row orch/how far to the side? Far enough, and you can't see 1 or 2 people on the line when they're on the line, and I would sit center mezz rather than do that.

anakela-- basically it's looking like side orch. around rows f-j, in the first 5 seats.

I'm guessing that's close enough to center to see all?

Oh yeah, I would say go with a row closer to J and within the first 5 seats you should be fine. Rather than say F 9 or F 10, depending on which side of the orch you're talking about, F 5 seats in might be too much of an angle (I was in G on the side, when I sat side orch, and I missed the person all the way stage right on the line).

I won the lotto yesterday and sat in the front row, dead center.
I was worried the stage was going to be too high, but it was eye level. Try for a close, center orchestra seat. If you go for side orch, don't do the left, because when the people sit and stand on the stairs, you'll be obstructed.
