Chorus Line casting

Can anyone tell me if the Alisan (sp) Porter going into A Chorus Line is the same girl who played Curly Sue in John Hugh's movie of the same name?
"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive. "Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot." "No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one." Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.

She's behind the guys arm but notice it's the same pose as in the movie ad.

Thanks German Guy...

Another question...
A few months ago, I saw her being interviewed, and they mentioned that she had done Broadway, but never listed the shows...
Can anyone tell me what else she has been in?

re: Chorus Line casting

I bet she was saying she has done "broadways shows". alot of people say that when they are just talking about musicals. i thought this was her firts Broadway show. i could be wrong.

re: Chorus Line casting

THe only thing that comes up on ibdb.com is A Chorus Line, so this must be her first show on Broadway.
"I hope you're all happy, keeping Alan off the team. Couldn't you, for once, open your minds and hearts and hear something that he couldn't see? I, for one, am glad that Alan is blind, so he can't see what, I am so sad to say, you can't hear." -Jerri Blank

her bio from the chorus line site

She was in the Broadway Production of Footloose in 1999 and gained serious attention as Crissy in Reprise’s Hair and Miriam in BCBG’s The Ten Commandments. re: Chorus Line casting

I was actually confusing her with the Hayley girl from those Pepsi commercials in the late 90's. That was the one I saw interviewed, and she stated she did Broadway...anyone know what she was in?

re: Chorus Line casting

You are thinking of Hallie Kate Eisenberg - she was in THE WOMEN at the Roundabout five or six years ago. She's still making movies, but she is only 14 - probably a little young for ACL. Maybe if they do a CHORUS LINE JR version...
