Christians Accuse BBC Over Jerry Springer Musical

The "elite" are allowed to make fun of Christ and of Christians for their beliefs, but Christians are ridiculed for being offended by this. So now who are the bigots?

Quite frankly some of them should be ridiculed. At one performance of Jerry Springer, the cast, orchestra and crew gave their services for free, raising over £3000 which was to be given to a cancer charity. The second group alluded to in that article, Christian Voice, threatened that charity with a boycott of all their activities (yes, those activites that help the terminally ill) and picketing outside their offices if they accepted the money. The charity was forced to refuse the donation

I guess these "Christians" want cancer victims to die.

A fact that should be hammered in the press over and over again.

Why does the Christian Voice want little children to die slow, painful deaths?

So do Christians sue the BBC over every program aired that they find offensive or just this one? Were they not offended by the antics of Absolutely Fabulous, Coupling or The Office? How about Monty Python who are known to lampoon Christianity from time to time? The BBC has broadcast loads of profanity for years as well as shows with scenes spoofing Christianity. I think they are more interested in publicity than anything else.
