I just read yesterday in Variety that Christina Applegate has been approached to play Sweet Charity! No details though...Any info is greatly appreciated.

From today's Daily News:

'One angry woman: Hollywood vixen Christina Applegate is still in Robert Blake Jury Pool Hell. Applegate has been trying since last week to be excused from jury selection in the high-profile murder case, arguing that professional obligations prevent her from serving on a four- to five-month trial. But Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Darlene Schempp has yet to set her free. "It's still ongoing," Applegate's manager, Tami Lynn, told Lowdown yesterday. "We expect to know later in the week."'

Rob, I honestly thought you were making it up. Given the trouble with Charities thus far, which hell would be worse? Being on that jury or being in that production? Being in the jury pool would add a nice subplot to the Court TV coverage and definitely up Christina's Q rating.

LOL I know someone that did that one time. Not to get out of Jury duty, but to keep some strange guy away from her when she was walking home alone at night. hahaha
Christina can just say she has prejudice feelings about Robert Blake and wants to see him be hanged no matter what the lawyers say.
