Christopher Bond's adaptation of SWEENEY TODD#1
Posted: 4/5/08 at 9:28pmIs it available anywhere to read? It seems to have been very much overshadowed by Sondheim/Wheeler's adaptation of it..

Posted: 4/5/08 at 11:54pmI know someone who was in a regional production of the Bond play in England. I don't think it's as commonly done over here...*shrug.*

re: Christopher Bond's adaptation of SWEENEY TODD#4
Posted: 4/6/08 at 1:11amIt's quite nearly word-for-word the Sondheim / Wheeler version as I remember.

Posted: 4/6/08 at 11:17amThe Bond script is available from Samuel French here in the US for $9.98. Go to www.samuelfrench.com and type Sweeney Todd in the search thing. Be careful as 2 scripts are listed. The Bond version is "Sweeney Todd, The demon Barber of Fleet Street"
