What happened with McDonald? Anyone who saw it in SF--was he a problem?!? I've heard that subplot is dumb, but was HE a problem?

I heard mixed reviews from people about him. Some loved him, other hated him.

A friend of mine really hated that whole subplot. I think that character "becomes" the scarecrow at the end, right?

I LOVE fitzgerald. I wasn't crazy about Kirk McDonald in Parade. What else has he done?

He toured as Mark on the Benny tour of Rent. He played the role between Neil patrick Harris and Scott Hunt.

Boq becomes the Tin Man, not the Scarecrow. A different character becomes the Scarecrow. I saw the show in SF and actually saw the Boq understudy who I thought was fine. The part of Boq is almost forgettable really. Not by any fault of the actor, but the character is just greatly overshadowed by the leads.

I know of two ensemble changes and, I believe, the addition of two standbys for the ladies.
