Finally got the track that I've been trying to find for almost a year: Christopher Plummer doing his own singing in TSOM.

I don't think I can contain my excitement!
Sorry you don't find it interesting. I've received more requests for this track than just about any other, so there are clearly those who feel otherwise.

...and I pity them.
It's mutual, I'm sure.
What is the point of posting it on one web site and then posting a link to it on Youtube? Can't you just post it on Youtube?
Are you a shill for the other website (that I've never even heard of)?

I'm not out to win any popularity contests. I just want to elevate the level of good taste in our society.

Youtube blocked it, so I had to link to the other site. More than a dozen of my clips have been blocked by youtube.

They should become more discriminating.
Thanks Mark. That was an interesting listen. Personally, although he obviously wasn't as vocally accomplished as Bill Lee I wouldn't have minded if they had used Plummer's track after hearing that.

God, he was hot.

I happen to like Christopher Plummer
And with the recent buzz about a Broadway revival (did I hear right about this...?), it is timely.
Marknyc...sometimes it pays to explain your posts a bit more, so nobody gets the wrong "wave"

Interesting to hear that. The man went on to star in a musical on Broadway (Cyrano), so it's not such a shock that he has a passable voice!

I think a lot of the actors who were dubbed back in the day would have been allowed to sing today, as they could have just ?fixed? their voices in the studio anyway. If Sound of Music had been made today, Christopher Plummer probably wouldn?t have been dubbed. He can carry a tune.
Of course, nothing could fix Pierce Brosnan?s voice?but that?s another story.

I don't understand. I simply posted that I uploaded a clip of Chris singing - what is there to explain?
