Circus Contraption

I have all the cast recordings and albums by this now-defunct Seattle experimental theatre group, but was never lucky enough to see them perform before two of the members were murdered and the group disbanded. From what I can tell of the recordings and rare clips online, there is some narrative element to their shows, climaxing with ringleader Armitage Shanks killing many of the recurring characters during "The Show to End All Shows."

did anyone here ever get to see Circus Contraption live? What are your memories of their shows?

Nah, that would be an Off-Topic post...

These guys should have been cult heroes and internet darlings, but they left nothing really behind except five or six deliriously incomprehensible cast recordings.

I thought it might be a reference to the long lost Circus Seussical craze.

 

Never heard of the group in question myself sounds cool tho!
