Cirque du Soleil Angels out in Manhattan?

Hey you guys!
I just got to work and passed a huge group? Lot? flock? of Cirque du Soleil angels! Their wings must be like 4 feet tall. Yay!
I love Cirque! So dramatic!

Did anyone else see them?
I know Cirque is bring Corteo to NY, but does anyone know why the angel wings?

Fascinating! Were they just out on the sidewalks? How did you know they were with Cirque? Are they passing out flyers? All those wings would take up a lot of room on those crowded NY sidewalks....

Yeah, it was really cool! There were a lot of them, all out on the sidewalks, but spread out. They were passing out fliers and had these Cirque t-shirts on that had one of those...maze?...that's the wrong word, but you know...one of those tibetan maze-like things on it that said, "CORTEO."

Do you know why they would have angel wings on?

Ok, I think its because Corteo (Cortege in Italian) means...Procession.

I know this is by the same director who did RAIN at the New Victory...which I LOVED.

Yeah.... saw then in from of the Imperial, handing out free promo DVD's.
