Cirque du Soleil Angels out in Manhattan?

Hey you guys!
I just got to work and passed a huge group? Lot? flock? of Cirque du Soleil angels! Their wings must be like 4 feet tall. Yay!
I love Cirque! So dramatic!

Did anyone else see them?
I know Cirque is bring Corteo to NY, but does anyone know why the angel wings?

Yeah, it was really cool! There were a lot of them, all out on the sidewalks, but spread out. They were passing out fliers and had these Cirque t-shirts on that had one of those...maze?...that's the wrong word, but you know...one of those tibetan maze-like things on it that said, "CORTEO."

Do you know why they would have angel wings on?
