City Center Encores seating

I apologize for starting a thread about seating at Encores, but I can't seem to find a previous message that addresses these specific issues. I would like to get Follies tickets, but all the tickets left for when I can go are extreme sides, either back of Front Gallery or towards the front of the Rear Mezz. The City Center seating maps say "not accurate perspective" on them -- are the rows spaced like one would typically think? I have also heard that the mezzanine is insufficiently raked -- is that true for the entire mezzanine or just the rear mezz? And where does the overhang for the mezzanine and the gallery start? Does the gallery start farther back than the mezzanine?
So basically, do you recommend extreme sides, back of Front Gallery or extreme sides, front of Rear Mezzanine? (Both tickets are $50.)

Posted: 2/9/07 at 11:17amI began Follies! siting in the back gallery, rough at best. During intermission my friend and I tool the liberty of re-seating our selves, and sat far house right in the front row of the Gallery, and the seats were exponentially better, the railing is not much of an issue, and the action is much better viewed from here. I liked far right, missed a bit of the action in the orchestra whom is seated on stage, and one or two scenes, but Donna and Vicki are in full view from here! Hope it helps!
