Could anyone tell me how good/bad the Front Gallery Center seats are at the city center (this is the second balcony)? I'm getting my "Tree Grows In Brooklyn" tickets but dont really want to pay $90 for orchestra/front mezz, so could someone tell me how these $50 seats measure up...Also, is the Front Gallery Center better than the Rear Mezz center? They are the same price.

I sat in the rear mezz ($50) for the Encores! 10th Anniversary Bash. They're not really bad.

Thanks -- is there a bad overhang from the gallery (second balcony)? I'm just contemplating whether to get gallery (row D) or rear mezz (row L)...

My wife and I saw “Pardon My English” there last year. Our seats were up in the second balcony and although the view (though really, really high) and the sound were fine the seats and legroom were the worst. You’ll have real climb to get to the second balcony so start a day or two early.

Haha -- well, with that in mind...I got tickets in the rear mezzanine -- Row L -- at first I was rather bothered because I thought Row L was very far back but its actually only the 8th or 9th row, as there is a large divide in the mezz. Thanks for your advice -- I'm glad we won't be in the rafters.
