Does anyone know of any good classes to take for acting in NYC?
Also, any voice instructors?
I really want to move to NYC and study some more, although I do have experience already. So, I don't want a beginner's class!
Also, does anyone know anything about the JOB LISTINGS on playbill.com? Are they worth going to? Has anyone gone to any?
I want to move to NYC, but it's so expensive. Is it really as expensive as everyone says (cost of living, rent)?

Whether you have experience or not, start at the beginning. NYC has rules, you need to meet other people just getting here. Go to HB Studios. Classes are inexpensive, teachers are good. They're online, I believe.

Unfortunately NYC is a very expensive place to live. You need to have a plan before you move here. How are you going to pay the rent? Do you need a roommate? etc. Are you Equity? These questions can make a difference and save you some time and grief.
I would suggest acting at HB Studios. You are allowed to attend a class to observe if the teacher is right for you. Do that as much as you can because some of the teachers are great and some are not so great.
