Jonathan Jackson will always be the one and only Lucky to me. I'm still mad about the Edward Quartermaine switcheroo. I know David Lewis died, but still.
Anyway, every night I keep seeing teasers about Laura's return! Figured I'd ask you current viewers what day we're at on the Genie Francis countdown? I've got to set the DVR.

Jesus. What are they going to have Laura on for only two frigging minutes a day--if that? And in the meantime I have to sit through the people I don't know/care about?
I guess Nicholas is cute.

From and AP article today, Both Geary and Francis said they're disheartened with the creative shape of daytime dramas today. Soaps have "stumbled around for quite a while," Geary said.
Francis, who now runs a furniture and gifts store in Maine, said soaps seem to have lost touch with real life and no longer have characters that the audience can relate to.
I couldn't agree with you more, Genie Francis! My high school friends and I were really able to see our lives reflected on GH the year you stopped the entire world from being frozen. Bring back the realism!

FINALLY watched the SoapNet stuff...all I have left is the last retrospective with Genie and Tony. How I missed Luke rockin' the white man's 'fro...
Wyndham's Dept Store: Wow! This was before my time so I had never seen it. Great episode! So that's where "Fascination" comes from. I remembered it was their song, but didn't know the origin. I loved watching this. Genie was so beautiful, wasn't she?
On the same episode: Monica and Rick! Rick looked the same as I remembered him, but Monica? She was so beautiful!
I don't remember that doctor who was coming on to Leslie, though. But it was so cool to see the famous "Floating Rib" again!
Also...David Lewis as Edward! Yay! LILA. I loved Anna Lee so much.
Alan visiting Susan in her little hideaway house with the chalet-style window...I'll never forget that. Stuart Damon was very handsome back in the day, wasn't he?
Beecher's Corners: First-time sex! Joe Kelly! Rose Kelly! Foxy Bobbie Spencer!
The wedding: This was the only episode I HAD seen. And it was so much fun to see it all of these years late and look at all of the familar faces...Aunt Ruby! Dan! Gail and Lee! Robert Scorpio! Brian and Claudia! Stupid Emma Lutz! Leslie rocks the eyeliner and is reunited with Rick. We are also greeted by the fabulous Tiffany, the annoying Amy Vining and that cranky, virginal sexpot Annie Logan. Aside from that horrendous hair, Annie was a beauty. What a punim, as my people love to say. NOAH DRAKE! Mmmm. Scotty catching the bouquet! And, last but certainly not least, the gorgeous, va va-voomy Liz Taylor with her diamonds, turban and unforgettable violet eyes--narrowing to curse the newlyweds. Good times, people!

Kimberly M. sucks. One minute she's playing (badly) very drunk and the next minute she's sober. I hated that whole mess with Robin, Patrick and the Ron Jeremy bartender.
And I CRINGE during every scene with Nikolas (mmm) and Emily. Her awful facial expressions, her sugary sweet delivery, etc. UGH. I want to mute the sound and just drink in his beauty.
Who is the actress portraying Grandma Spinelli?! She looks so familiar.
I go back and forth with Carly and Sonny's kid (the redhead). He has a lot of spunk, and sometimes I really like him. Other times I want to smack him.

I'm going to figure out who she is! She reminds me of Patricia Neal a little.

Okay. I know I praised the way GH handled the storyline only a few days ago, but enough already. I'm officially sick of Lulu's abortion and all abortion talk. Give it a rest, writers. We get it.
I hope Spinelli gets shot so he can finally shut the f--k up.
WTF was with the preview? Is Sonny going to keep Carly captive?

Yes. And you know who's REALLY awful? Colleen. I hate that whole plotline. You want to see a great nanny from hell, look at Janet (played by Kate Collins) on All My Children (the 1990s). She was amazing!
I hate Maxie. And, of course, she's not really pregnant. However, Lucky was being a real dick. He should have never have asked her about adoption. It was TOTALLY because he wanted to avoid all responsibility.
Question: Was Maxie ever actually pregnant in the first place? Or did she miscarry? The dr. at the hospital said she confirmed a pregnancy test.

Who was the tattooed guy hearing Ric's confession?

They'll probably make Maxie the one to find Liz in the snow!

Yesterday was GREAT! I can't believe they packed so much into one episode!
Can't wait to see the Maxie/Lucky/Liz blow-up in the hallway.

The whole "couch" story is ridiculous. Now I'm going to have to sit through boring-ass Robin and Patrick. Yay.
And how OLD is Patrick? Why does that jackass English professor friend of his have such an influence on his opinion? And why is that guy so anti-relationship? Why would he care or feel threatened by Patrick having a serious girlfriend?
I am jealous of his apartment, by the way. I love exposed brick.
My wish for today: Focus on the Alexis and Nikolas storylines. Pot and Helena. That's more like it!

OK. Saw Friday's show. What do you guys think re: the "24" style of storytelling? I'm kind of into it!
Re: Robin. Talk about high maintenance. What does she want from Patrick? The way I see it, he is really trying. Kimberly M. plays a horrid drunk.

Re: the new doc. No doctor in the world--much less one who'll probably be the new Chief-of-Staff--would talk smack about another surgeon (Patrick) in FRONT OF THE PATIENT'S SIGNIFICANT OTHER and risk a lawsuit. That was bothering me. Had to get it off my chest.
Can't they bind and gag Carly? With all of these lives in danger, it's still all about HER. her insecurities, her fears, her selfishness, her reputation ("if Robin dies, everyone will say it's all my fault!"--even making someone's possible death about HER)

I think she'll pick Alan even though Alan is telling her to pick Elizabeth. Re: Robin. I think someone mentioned her, but he said no because she's provided so much entertainment (or something like that).
