Beat me to it! Like the series this year...American Idiot, Fela! and Bring It On are probably the only major ones we didn't get. But I'm extremely excited for Sondheim on Sondheim...that's going to be an amazing production.
I don't think my MIL will be as excited about this as she was for this current season. She is a red coat there and loved the 10-11 schedule. But I know she wants to see some of the shows
If you can, do the red coat program - you get to see the show (Sometimes you miss the first five minutes) and you just pay for parking. I mean you have to usher and clean up a little after, but it is worth it!
I wonder what their "longer" engagement will be. Cleveland has 6 or 7 Broadway series shows along with 1 or 2 longer running engagements at one of the bigger theaters...

Lion King

I have done several of those programs before...free shows are always great!
And I'm pretty sure a lot of people will be very satisfied with this season. The shows in here that I'd be looking the least forward to (Addams/Memphis/Quartet) will probably end up being the most popular.

Pretty good season. Lots of different things to appeal to different people. Frustrated about Sondheim on Sondheim though. As cool as it is to have this resident production, knowing that Victoria Bussert is directing it basically means it's going to be a Baldwin-Wallace production and not much better than a college production. Very frustrating that Playhouse Square is letting this happen again.

I don't think they can only use Baldwin Wallace people, since some of the roles ought to be cast older, but they people they get are always incredible.
And I do wonder if they'll get a longer engagement of something. I heard that Wicked won't be back for a while, but they are also getting Mamma Mia, Riverdance and Wizard of Oz (all of which suck). So we'll see if they have something else big up their sleeve. Lion King was there a number of years ago, but I'd love to see that come back, since I haven't seen that in a very long time.
