After being stuck in traffic for more than it was expected, my bus finally arrived here in NYC. I had to book it to the hotel to make to the show (which we were already late to) and so we had our hotel (Comfort Inn Midtown) and it was only like a block away, so we get there and Norbert had just begun Great Big Stuff, which was so hilarious. We had missed Giving Them What They Want and What Is A Woman To Do. Norbert was so hilarious- from his mooning of the audience in Great Big Stuff to his role as "Ruprecht" was so hilarious. Jonthan Pyrce was awesome, he had the style, charm and voice to fill the shoes of John Litgow. He was so hilarious when doing the scene with Ruprecht and Oaklahoma. Mylinda Hall was hilarious as a crazed Oaklahoma down girl thinking of marring "The Prince". Sherie Rene's entrance in Everything Is French- was fanatasic and she was undeniably hilarious. But, my favorite characters were Joanna Gleason as the crazed Muriel and Gregory Jbara as the suave and smooth Andre. They deffiently stole the show. I loved Gregory's "A Chimp In A Suit" which is now my favorite song on the OBC. Joanna was just insane when she was the tourguide to the statue. Their love affair was fantastic. Norbert and Jonthan are a great team and with great back up from Sherie, Greg, Joanna, its a smash hit.
Stage Door- I went out and it was kinda alot of kids (being Kids Night on Bway) met Joanna, looking smart in glasses, Jonathan, who was asked if he was the dad in Pirates of The Cabarribean to which he replied "yes", Norbert- who was in quite a rush but was very nice and signed my playbill and CD. My favorite Gregory was last, but he was so nice, he took a picture with me and told me to email it to him (which I will along with a long email of how much i loved his preformance) I have now become a Jbara Head, he's increbible.
Overall, I loved DRS- hilarious, brillant and down right just what a kid needs to get over midterm over draw.

I'm glad you had a good time and am happy you made it in time for Great Big Stuff. To me, you came in at one of the best parts of the show.

Posted: 2/1/06 at 1:55amSure - he means "Here I Am". I'm so sorry you were late though. One of the highlights of the show for me is Joanna's "What Was a Woman to Do?". I couldn't agree more about she and Greg. The whole show is wonderful - but they were the highlights!

He started doing it...somewhere around summer I think...during "Chimp in a Suit" where he screams underwear!, he turns around to walk back out of the..."house?" and proceeds to pull them up all the way to scratch his butt cheek, so the whole audience can see 
Aww Clumsy glad you had a great time! Definitely whole-heartedly agree about the show and Greg.

I am so happy you like Jonathan Pryce :) :) say what you will about the bad wig the guy has charm (c'mon if he can make Jaun Peron charming Lawrence in DRS should be easy lol)
And of course it's great to have another Greg Jbara fan!
Sorry you missed the start of the show though 
still you got to see sherie I'm jealous!! (she was out the night i saw it)

I didn't think Norbert would moon the audience since there were lots of kids in the audience...but I guess Norbert will be Norbert 
I miss DRS! Clumsy, you make me want to watch it again...
