That's right, follow the magic link. Apparently Burton wants one of the funniest men in recent history to play Pirrelli in the Todd movie. I for one could not be happier. If he can sing it, although I can't imagine they would keep his songs no matter who plays it, Cohen is inspired casting for this role.

The same reason why they didn't use the Voice Mails and Tune Ups in the movie version of Rent.

From what I've heard, Toby's section of "Pirelli's Miracle Elixir" will be sung, but the "contest" itself will not be.

Good because the "Contest" is the one song from Sweeney Todd that I despise.
