College Audition / Monologue

I originally posted this in the OT board, but I only got 2 lonesome replies. I hope no one minds too much that I posted it here as well.

I plan on applying to universities this fall and winter and need a 2 minute contemporary monologue from a play. I would really appreciate any suggestions that you may have to offer.

By contemporary do you mean not classical or are you looking for something that was written in the past five-ten years?

Something written during or after the 1950's would be a more contemporary piece, I suppose.

look at some tennessee williams then. lots of good monolouges, some are somewhat more difficult though
