Color Purple Rush Policy

I know that the Color Purple has changed its rush policy, so I was just wondering what the latest word is on the policy. Last I heard was that they started selling tickets at noon as opposed to 6 PM for the 8 o'clock show.
Are they still starting to sell them at 12? Also, are there rush for weekend evening performances?
Thanks to anyone who can help!

Wow, I've now officialy rushed a matinee and an evening! - a month apart. That's sad. (And I'm going back later this month!)
Blue J - are you going to see a matinee? If so, 9:30-9:45 should be good.

I'll most likely be seeing a matinee, but in case not - what time would you reccomend getting there for an evening performance?
Thank you for your help!

Matinee: 9:20-9:45
Evening: 11:15-11:45
Something really annoying was that we got there at 11:30-ish. And after that about 11 people came in and went to the front of the line - one person was saving all of them spots.
But I'd rather sit second row than first row.

Do they offer rush seats to 1st and 2nd rows? I thought it was only 1st. And you can buy 2 tickets per person, right?
(Sorry I'm asking so many questions! I'm usually not this oblivous, I swear!)

It's the first two rows - center.
I prefer second - there's also a lot of spit you'll see because the orchestra is under the stage (so the actors come right up to you).
I think it's two per - but I'm not sure. One girl asked for three, but had two people behind her - I dunno if the BO guy saw them though.

Fyi rushed the show yesterday (wed 12/14). I didn't realize that the evening rush tix didn't go on sale until noon, so I was at the box office at about 10:05am- but since there were already two people forming the separate line against the back wall for the noon sale I decided to wait. (and fyi the line at the box office at 10:05am, was 20 people deep). By 11:45ish there were probably 25 people in the noon line, I would've been surprised if there were evening rush tix on sale for much longer after noon.
Ended up in the first row. And the woman behind me was by herself and buying three tix, so I don't know how strict they are about the whole two per person thing.
First time seeing the show. Loved. Telling everyone I know to go see it. LaChanze is so incredible! Loved it.
