Color Purple Stage Door

Hey guys! So I saw the color purple last night, and only a few actors came out of the stage door entrance. Is there another door that Cynthia and Danielle come out of during some shows? They said she already left the building, but we were at the door right after the show ended. Other actors also came out to do autographs, but then they went back inside. I know it sounds funny; but how do they get out if they don't go through the stage door?

The door that they use for signing autographs is not actually the official stage door. The alley down the street houses the stage doors for the Majestic, the Golden and the Jacobs. It gets confusing when crowds are waiting in the same spot for different shows, so they have the actors exit through a different door when signing autographs.

Also, even if that weren't the case, most if not all of Broadway theatres have other exits.
