Just saw it today & it was great

It had much more substance than Drowsy . In any other year, it would have won. It definitely deserved best score & a few others at the Tonys

Wow, someone that finally agrees with me!

I absolutely loved this show, and I seriously think it should have won many more Tonys than it did. I was definitely rooting for it for Best Musical.

But so glad you enjoyed THE COLOR PURPLE- it really is one incredible show :)

Jersey Boys was very good but Purple told a sweeping story much like Ragtime

I would be hard pressed to pick between the 2 but Purple deserved more than 1 Tony

The Broadway theater is in fine shape & is one of the better looking Broadway houses. The seats were great & the sound was fine. The fact taht it looks as good as it has being ripped apart twice for 2 dhows (Dude &Candide) is absolutely amazing. I believe the projection roon where they showd Steamboat Willie from has been removed . The 3 Cinerama projectors (under the balcony) from This Is Cinerama were removed years ago
