Come to the benefit for VH1's Save the Music! This Monday, from 9 to 11!! Help Save The Music!
Michael Arden (BARE), Euan Morton (Boy George in TABOO, Caligula in CALIGULA) and Eric Millegan (Simon Zealotes in SUPERSTAR, Harold in the upcoming HAROLD AND MAUDE) will be featured, along with other Broadway regulars and aspirants.
Tickets are $25 with a two-drink minimum, but visit SageSpace.com to get discounted $20 tickets.
Since Michael Arden's not going to be performing in BARE any time soon, opportunities to see him are scarce. This is a big one in an intimate space. And let me just say, that Euan Morton's no slouch either, not to mention Eric Millegan.
The benefit's going to feature works by emerging musical theater writers -- people from BAT BOY's Larry O'Keefe to New York Musical Theater Festival hopefuls like Andrew Gerle & Eddie Sugarman (MEET JOHN DOE), Adam Gwon (LULU), and Eric Svejcar (CALIGULA), along with Michael Arden (performing original work), Seth Bisen-Hersh (the Fringe Festival's SPICKNER SPIN), Charles Bloom (INSOMNIA), Brooke Fox & Kurt Gellersted, Luna Lovegood (MARTHA AND ME) Brendan Milburn & Valerie Vigoda (GROOVELILY), Mark Smollin & Kelly Dupis, and yours truly.
The event will be hosted by comedian and Broadway veteran Rick Crom (URINETOWN, THE GOODBYE GIRL, FOOTLOOSE), who will perform an original song as well.
