For a 1 night stay in the city, would you choose the Comfort Inn Midtown or Super 8 Times Square, anyone stay at either or both who have opinions of these 2 hotels?

Posted: 8/1/06 at 2:18pmSuper 8 Times square. I stayed there when i went to NY for spring break. It isnt a beautiful 5 star hotel by any means but its right near everything and the room isnt that bad. I stayed ther for 3 nights with my dad.

My family stayed at the Comfort Inn when they came to visit. The staff was very nice. When the air conditioner broke in the evening, they were moved quickly to another room.
If it is for one night, which is cheaper?

I stayed at the Super 8 for a week on a school trip. The problems I had with it is that the room I stayed in was TINY. My suitcase alone filled up half our floorspace, and we had 4 girls. Also, there is only one elevator and when we were leaving, I literally waited 30 minutes for it to reach my floor.
It probably isn't that bad for one night, and about two people, though.
