Through chance this week, I discovered videos of the ending "I wanna dance with somebody" number from the Dutch production of The Bodyguard. I was not impressed at all. The choreography is bad. The direction is awful. If you want to see what I'm talking about, just Youtube "the bodyguard musical nl" and you will be able to find what I'm talking about. I was excited that this was going to be a non-replica production, but now I'm kind of wishing that it wasn't.
