I just wanted to share with everyone that my friend Chrissy recently found out that she was cast as the Tracey cover in the national tour of HAIRSPRAY! I could not be more proud of her and want you all to know that if you've got tickets to the tour and you happen to have an understudy, the role is in AWESOME hads!

Thats awesome! That means I have a chance of seeing her when she comes near me. Random question is Hairspray thats part of the Broadway Theatre Guild the same thing as the touring company? i know thats probably a stupid question, just wondered. And where did she audition? NY probably?

Yes, superstar- the touring production of Hairspray is the same as the production currently running on Broadway.

Lol I just realized my question was confusing. I wondering if the touring cast is the same cast that performs as part of the Broadway theatre guild, but its all good, I found it out that they're the same thing, thanks though rusty
