Congrats for seeing the shows for free, but the fact is that the Ovations have really been losing credibility over the last few years.
I hope you can add something positive to the entire ordeal.

Wow!!! Congratulations Steve!!! That is truly great news....well deserved
I know there've been problems with the voting systems. For example, Performance Riverside won with relatively few votes, which was controversial to say the least. But I'll do my best to reserve my 9s and 10s for things that really deserve them. I can't be responsible for Ovation, just for my own participation as a voter. I hereby promise to do my best!!!
Congrats! It'll be an exciting 2005-06 season for you, great!
BTW you saw 1000 shows this year? (or so far you mean?)If it's "this year" tell me how you can do it!

Lite, I made myself laugh when I went back and read my original post. You are apparently the only one to catch the extra 0. It was supposed to be 100, and I've changed it. 1000 shows in 6 months, that would have meant 5 or 6 shows a day. I'm still laughing at how absurd that must have sounded.
:)
I just learned that there are only 200 Ovation Voters, and the Ovation awards cover theaters in Orange County, Ventura County, and San Bernardino County as well as L.A. If they made a mistake in selecting me to be one of them, please keep it among us. :)
