Wish I had been to the San Genaro Festival to see Connie Francis, my all-time favorite US female vocalist.
Her performances in Rio in 1965 are still fondly remembered by the public and music critics.
Connie is the most talented and most wonderful American singer who has ever been here.
On behalf of all her loyal Brazilian fans, I send her "muitos beijos carinhosos e cheios de saudade ..."
