I just read somewhere that PBS did a broadcast of the amazing 'CONTACT'
Does anyone know if there is a full copy of it floating around anywhere?
I saw it twice in London and would love to see the Broadway version.

Posted: 5/20/13 at 9:42am"Live from Lincoln Center" broadcasts are never made available commercially on DVD. Any "copies of it floating around" would be from people recording it off the TV - in other words, bootlegs.

Posted: 5/20/13 at 12:47pmI taped in (VHS) from the broadcast but my PBS station chose to show the censored version with language bleeped out.
Cast albums are NOT "soundtracks."
Live theatre does not use a "soundtrack." If it did, it wouldn't be live theatre!
I host a weekly one-hour radio program featuring cast album selections as well as songs by cabaret, jazz and theatre artists. The program, FRONT ROW CENTRE is heard Sundays 9 to 10 am and also Saturdays from 8 to 9 am (eastern times) on www.proudfm.com
