Does anyone know when the contracts for the current cast of South Pacific expire? I want to see it again (and again!) and love this cast.

Paulo Szot is leaving the the end of October/beginning of November. I seem to remember Loretta Ables Sayre and others say they were signed on for a year, meaning they'd be leaving in March or April.

Is it 100% certain that Mr. Szot will not re-sign and extend? He's so good...

Didn't Paulo Szot say recently in a public interview that he extended his contract and pulled out of the opera commitments that were going to force him to leave the show early?
Kelli O'Hara is contracted through January 4th, and I assumed all of the other principles were also.

He did extend his contract - to November. He was originally only going to be there through the summer.

I received confirmation as well from LCT. He's in till November 30th.
Matt is supposed to be contracted till January 4th, as is Kelli O"Hara and I assume the majority of the cast.

I know that Paulo Szot will not be around next year because he is performing in Carmen in this years opera season.

I'll be going to see South Pacific on March 7, the day before Szot's last show. Any idea of which leads will be gone by then? A lot of people have said that Kelli O'Hara is leaving on January 4th, but is there any information regarding her possibly extending her contract, or any of the other leads? Thanks =]

Paulo's back from february 1st to march 7th and then he's leaving again to France.
BUT he will be back from april 15th to july 5th! :) !

At Paulo Szot's last show back at the end of November, the kiosk folks were saying that Kelli O'Hara may extend. This is great news. For how long will O'Hara stay in SOUTH PACIFIC?
