Has anyone ever seen this show? I saw the non-equity national tour of it a few months ago and it was such a wonderful production. The show never made it on Broadway, but does anyone else just think this is an overlooked musical?

And if she'll say, "My darling, I'm yours!" I'll throw away my striped tie and my best pressed tweed, all I really need is the girl...

I enjoyed it but there was never any intention by Sussman and Manilow to bring to Broadway. They didn't feel it was the right material. Now HARMONY...I am waiting for with baited breath. Very excited about that and was happy to hear that they settled the issues with the ex-producer and are moving on and it LOOKS like Brian DJ will be able to play the lead as originally planned.

COOL

The tour with Gavin McLoud and Darcie Roberts was awful.

I saw a different cast and thought it was fine. But, as was originally posted, the creative team never felt this show was strong enough and had enough meat on his bones to make it on Broadway.
