Corbin Bleu may have made his mark in Disney junk, but he showed with "In the Heights" that he had chops, charisma and a work ethic that made him a viable working actor. While "Godspell" doesn't exactly test anyone's range (I'd hardly call the mugging this troop is up to acting) he would seem to be ideal casting to me. And since there's a tradition of "color-blind" casting where Jesus is concerned (i.e., choosing white actors - and Jesus was definitely not a white man) this is an ideal choice.
Phyllis, that's what I meant by "currently"; that Hunter is colorblind casting. But after reading my comment, I'd be confused too! I should not post on my phone while laying in bed at midnight.
