Could "The Last 5 Years" Work Well On Screen?- Page 2

It's interesting that this question came up. While we were discussing a few other things, this topic came up in an email with Jason from early 2005. Here's a portion of his response:

"Would "The Last Five Years" make a great film? In the right hands, I think so. I've always seen it as sort of a set of connected music videos anyway, so I think a director who can balance the art and the drama and the music would be able to bring something very cinematic and visual to the piece."

Personally, I think the show would work well, however I cannot think of a director who would bring the right mix and eye to the project. But then again, who knows?
