Posted: 4/19/06 at 4:08pmAnyone have any info on the show Cowgirls? A friend of mine is singing a song from this show and I have become interested in it. I did some research and found the cast recording at Amazon, but it is around 50 dollars and I am not wanting to spend that much. Any ideas where I might be able to find it cheaper? Thanks!

These are some AMAZING women (go, Mary and Mary)!!!!!! The show is fresh, fun and requires amazingly talented actresses who act, sing and play a multitude of instruments. You can also PM me, if you would like, for a little more info.

She THINKS she's booking a country girl group (The Cowgirl Trio), but she's actually booked a classical performing group (The Coghill Trio). There all sort of in a situation where they have to make it work. The classical girls learn to perform country -- with a twist. It's a really cute, all female show where the actors are the musicians. They play a variety of instruments (violin, cello, piano, banjo, guitar, mandolin, percussion, etc.) sing and act. There are songs scattered throughout the show and the actual bar "show" at the end where they perform a few songs as a group (the trio along with the owner of the bar and the waitresses who work there).
