Critic's Choice Awards - Cast of Rent coming up

Sorry if there's already a thread on this. I just stumbled upon the Critic's choice awards on the WB. The announcer just said the cast of Rent will be appearing. I don't think any of the awards the movie is nominated for have been announced yet.

I know! Unfortunately I missed the presentation of the ensemble award. Are they all there or is it just the four of them?

oh it was just the 4 of them presenting for best tv movie... and walk the line just won for best soundtrack

okay, i don't LOVE season's of love but it's better than hustle & flow. okay, every nomination in that category was better than hustle and flow.

They didn't win for best musical number either Hustle and Flow did.

It is just those 4.
How much did you love Felicity Huffmann mouthing to someone how much she loves Seasons of Love when it played as the cast walked out.

Oh no, RENT just lost the soundtrack to Walk the Line.
If Seasons of Love doesn't win, there is no justice!
Hustle and Flow! Give me a break!!!

I did love Felicity Huffman's mouthed comment. They should have one at least one of the music categories! Were they the only three awards they were up for (ensemble, soundtrack, song)?

yeah worst... 3 nominations and no awards...

the only movie that i think has a better soundtrack than rent is Garden State and that is over a year old... hustle and flow winning an award just shows how bad music has gotten in this mtv generation (honestly, if rent couldn't win for best song i'd be happy with emmylou winning)

anyone wondering if the others are at daphne rubin-vega's concert right now? i was going to go but my friend didn't want to...

i also caught the felicity huffman thing! so cute, it made me smile.

they really deserved some sort of recognition, it sucks that they weren't able to get it.

Yeah, I can't believe that some stupid MTV-like film won over one of the best films of the year, in my opinion. I didn't catch the mouthed Seasons of Love love mentioned. Glad SOMEONE has taste. :)

Rosario should've also been nominated, as she was the major stand-out.

Hustle and Flow is not some "stupid MTV like film." It was actually one of the better movies this year (definitely better than the movie of Rent), featuring a performance by Terrence Howard that is very much in the running for an Oscar nomination.
